A portion of U.S. 395 north near the I-580 intersection in south Carson City has reopened after an hours-long closure due to a dump truck crash.
The 5-car crash happened just after 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
Nevada Highway Patrol says the dump truck was full of dirt when it overturned onto the roadway spilling dirt.
Three people were transported to the hospital, but no serious injuries were reported.
NHP says it expects the closure to last a few hours while crews investigate and clear the crash site.
Northbound traffic is being diverted onto I-580 north from the intersection.
