Officers from the Winnemucca Police Department teamed up for an investigation with the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Team (TRIDENT) in a bust that resulted in three arrests.

Winnemucca Police Officers reported Friday that on September 18 they received a report of stolen property at a home in the mobile home park at 2nd Street in Winnemucca.

Serving a search warrant, the police found multiple stolen items and illegal drugs.

TRIDENT then served a search warrant specifically for drugs and found methamphetamine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, three handguns and a stun gun.

This led to the arrest of two men and one woman.

The first man was arrested for charges of possession for meth, cocaine and marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a firearm by an ex-felon and stolen property.

The second man was arrested and charged with possession of meth, psilocybin mushrooms, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, stolen property and violation of release.

The woman was arrested on charges of possession of meth and cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

The identities of those arrested have not yet been released.
