The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is advising the public of upcoming road closures that may affect travel to the airport.
From April 6 through April 17, the southbound I-580 airport off-ramp will be closed 24 hours a day as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements.
While the airport offramp is closed, access to the airport from northbound Aviation Way will be unavailable Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
NV Energy will be doing underground utility work, including trenching, near the roadway. The construction is tied to the current projects within the airport’s MoreRNO Infrastructure Program.
Drivers are advised to use an alternate route.
Airport operations remain fully open during construction.
