A brush fire that broke out west of Sun Valley on Sunday evening is now fully contained.Â
The cause of the 17-acre Chimney Fire remains under investigation.
The fire initially started 7 p.m. near Chimney Road.

Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue says forward progress has been stopped on a wildfire burning west of Sun Valley.
According to a post on 'X', fire crews will remain on the fire into the night, securing the fire line and mopping up hot spots.Â
You're asked to avoid the area near Chimney Road while firefighters are working.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.Â

The Chimney Fire started just before 7 p.m. Sunday near Chimney Road.Â
Truckee Meadows Fire, BLM Fire, Reno Fire and Sparks Fire are all responding.Â
Adam Mayberry with Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue tells us the fire has burned an estimated 15 acres, and air attacks are underway.
